Pied Piper

Had to get onto posting this tune as soon as i heard it, and i was pleasantly excited when i found out it was from a sydney dude on an ozzie label!
Tom Piper has obviously been hard at work, cause he has a discography that's already huge, remixing the likes of Sidney Samson, Bass Kleph and Ursula 1000. His latest remix, of Danny T's "Chico" has gotta be up with as one of my favourites. It's got all my boxes ticked for what i want in a song - a droney but bouncey synth (middle drop), some kinda weird horn or tuned instrument that sounds non-western freaking out (third drop), some marching drums, some congas and it changes up so i got cue points galore... What more could a little girl want? Pipe it...

Danny T - Chico (Tom Piper's CrackCrack Freshness Remix)

You can grab the whole release here, via No Frills which also comes packed with a Hump Day remix. And be sure to check out his newer release with another Scatterblog favourite (who i can't believe we haven't done a post on yet) Wax Motif, "808" (which has been climbing the beatport charts) here. Looks like No Frills might be a label for us to watch out for!
