Playin like a pimp

I'm a big hater atm, but these i love. Totally yes, love.
Mumdance seem to throw out a gem every now and again, this is def no exception. I can totally handle the bloc party-esque vocals, although i usually don't. It seems that when they're coupled with an eerie, ethereal synth-bell harmony, and then flip into a main part that is just balls-out hard and dancey that they take on a whole new piece of cool. Throw in a "Jump Around" drum sample and we're alllll gooood.

Ok so i did a post on Sharkslayer a while back, and was all like "who the, what the!?!" Anyway, since then we've all found out that it's Sir Nenis (Top Billin fame) and DJ Pushups, and we're all in love. They just did the Don't Go In The Water EP which was filled with all kinds of greatness ("Bad Ding" and "Come Around" kiiiillll!!!) Beatport ain't working for me atm, but i'm pretty sure you can grab the EP thru Top Billin on beatport. Anyway there's a new track that i totally stole from Curb Crawlers Blog. It's a track of pure jump-up fun - riding drums, catchy grills-out vocals and that synth line is addictive!! Seriously i've played this song too many times since i got it, can't wait to play it out. Look out for this off the upcoming EP - The Great White.

DJ Absurd has some really interesting bassline tracks. They change up, they have the wobble, and once again, they all fun. He's got a few remixes under his belt now, but this piece of original production has totally got me going. I've had it on repeat a bit, it's fast and real cool. Get his remix for Fonzarelli (which is really cool too) here.
P.S. any of the DJs get good response playing a lot of bassline anywhere other than the UK? I can only get away with like 2 tracks here before the dancefloor disperses - it's so danceable tho!?
