2 jams for summer

Although it might be below 0 for many of the northen readers, in oz it's hot as, and summer is in full effect (we're a bit into it now). Anyway here's a couple of essential jams to help your party this summer.

First is a remix that keeps growing on me, from those sydney-siders, the Bag Raiders. I think i've said it before, but they really have that 80s teen drama sound down, ya know? This "Pr Nails remix", and "Fun Punch" especially, make me think of shows and movies like degrassi junior high, or teen wolf or something, you know, jocks in those football jackets they have in the states. Look out for the Kid Sister Remixes EP out soon, as well as a Bag Raiders 12", all on the ever improving, always awesome Fools Gold Recordings.

Some more awesome, which has probably been melting floors thru the northern summer, is this track by a pair of electro producers, Moulinex. Alot of their stuff is pretty nu-ravey, but this track is on an almost disco-y tip. It seems like i'm down with 80s fluro-cap tunes for this summer (omg, that's like sooooo last year Dionne). This is my favorite tune by them, by far, it's mega fun, and has some cool builds, it almost reminds me of a Fatboy Slim set...
