So Massive

OK, so, the Crookers Massive EP finally got released through Pottymouth. Of course it's a grand release, Bumblebees is definitely one of my favorite tracks of the year, i've been waiting for it for way too long...
You can buy it thru beatport, which finally accepts paypal. Only thing is, is that you need to have funds in your paypal account, which means it doesn't just grab it out of your bank account like most places, probably cause there can be a delay, i dunno. Anyway, it's still paypal on there, aka no credit card needed. (p.s. with the massive release, if you want the original horns release (uses the jump around horns in the break/build section) then wait for a few more days, as there's a differnt version up at the moment, but Amato informs the horns version'll be up soon.)
Also check out this dope track i got in my myspace mail from this kid Foamo. Don't know a whole lot about him, and it seems this is the only track he has floating around at the moment. It's been played on Kissy Sell Out's Radio 1 program "In New DJs We Trust", (damn the UK has so many good radio shows, we're mainly blessed with shit down here) so there's some good attention on the track (ps head over to Electric Zoo to hear the mix Sinden did for the show.).
Anyway the track is really well produced, has some nice fidget house drums goin on and explodes early with a big bass that i wanna hug, def check it, and keep your eye out for the name Foamo, hell he's only 18 or something atm...

*taken down, soon to see digital release on UK label Cubism.
Also got some nice stuff thru myspace mail from Chicago producer Bald Eagle. He's holdin it down over there, in what looks like a bunch of dope shows, so if you're in the vicinity, go check him out. The track i'm chucking in uses the vocal of fellow Chicagan (hmm, is that how you'd say it, maybe chicago-ian, hah, i dunno) Hollywood Holt, who i'm still really hoping i hear more of soon. If you're been reading the blog for a while, you mighta seen my post on him wayback when. There have been a few releases from his producer mate, Million $ Mano, (look out for that name too) and more upcoming, discobelle mentioned production on Vyle's new "Oh I Think Dey Like Hoodtronics Vol.2" which i've also been waiting for, for way too long, Vol.1 was mega! (keep checking the myspace for Vol.2 i assume)

Also i'm gonna chuck in another track, this time by dudes who are always at the top of my playlist, Sinden and Count of Monte Cristal. I really try not to post their tracks, because they get completely whored by bloggers, it's just as bad as Justice's tracks, they're everywhere. I can see why tho, i mean every track they do is dope pretty much. Anyway, i haven't posted anything of theirs in ages, and this track has been whored a bit already, so i don't feel as bad. It's the remix of Mark Ronson's track with Amy Whinehouse, Valerie, which is getting a single release, with some other remixes to go.

On the topic of whoring, i got my copy of Boys Noize's new full length album, "OiOiOi". The thing is supa dope, definitely jumped up to one of my favorite albums for 2007. Some of the tracks can are a little bit repetitive, but still they have a good sound, and would be fine to DJ and mix out early. Other tracks are pure gems the whole way though, there's definitely something very infectious about Boys Noize's sound, which i find almost hard to put my finger on. He's doing that distortion thing that's all so popular, yet he does it in such an interesting, musical fashion. People are copying, he ain't.
Anyway the album is probably gonna get completely whored out on blogs and everywhere soon, most of his tracks do... You can grab it though Beatport at the moment for $15 USD (buy the release, not singles, for the discounted price), which also comes with a bonus track exclusively for beatport. I've put my favorite track of the album so far, below (the only way to listen to this one is loud!)... You can also pre-order the CD thru Amazon.
