So Claude VonStroke, hmm an interesting one. I've kinda caught his bird flu unexpectedly i must say. There's just really something very infectious about his beats. They're kind of minimal, which isn't really my thing usually... i dunno there's just something that bangs about them. They've got musical ideas and production ideas to back up their catchyness. They've got good movement, and a lot of people can get down to them. And on top of all that there's a giant blue bird that runs through the film clips to a lot of them.
He's actually down from California and is gonna be playing in Melbourne this Sunday night, just to add to the list of things that is going on over the long weekend. Tix are $20 and it's at 3rd class (you can buy tickets from their myspace).
Also tomorrow night if you're looking for something to do i'll be playing with Deltoid at workshop from 9.30, i'm on 12-2:30. Then i'm on at DJs Ain't Rock Stars at Basement 257/QBar from 3:30 till 5:30, so it'll be a long night...
